We are officially packed!!!! We can't believe this day has finally arrived. It has always been so far away. Now here we are all packed and catching a plane to Alaska tomorrow!
It still hasn't sunk in yet that we are about to start our Journey...maybe tomorrow after we are dropped off at the airport it will finally set in.
The last weeks have been spent road tripping around seeing friends, spending time with family and going over our packing list a couple more times. In a couple days from now we will be putting our bikes back together and getting our wheels headed south.
We both are feeling a bit nervous about the start of the journey, but still excited to see how this adventure will play out. We've only been on the bikes once in the last few weeks so we will be taking in slowly so we don't over do it right out the gate.
Bring on the dirt roads and Mountains!...Let the honeymoon start!
Those bike boxes and packed panniers remind me of some of my trips. You are now in AK, but I’m to sure if you are in Deadhorse yet. It’s going to be tough for me to wait for you to post stuff, but you are in our hearts each day. Love you both. And remember, embrace each day!
